Bio-ethics includes the two large fields of medical and non-medical disciplines. A considerable task for medical ethics is the discovery and analysis of moral conflict structures. Once understood, these conflict structures are studied in light of the relevant principles and norms.
Non-medical bio-ethics includes the following areas: environmental ethics, plant and animal ethics.
Finally, genetic technology has raised significant ethical questions for all areas of bio-ethics.
